Refused Orders
Products that are refused when UPS or other carriers attempt to deliver the product(s) are assessed a minimum 25% restocking fee plus all shipping charges. You acknowledge and agree to this fee by placing your order. Return Policy
All sales are final with the following exceptions
Please contact us at parts@mainheating.com to notify us in advance of your reason for wanting to return the item (s) you purchased. If it meets our criteria as described below, we will email you with a return number and the appropriate returns mailing or shipping address. Items mailed or shipped to us without contacting us first cannot be accepted since our return system has no way to track the items. All returns must be pre-authorized by us and returned to us within 30 days of initial purchase.
If you are returning because we made an error in your order and sent you a different part different from ordered, we will promptly send you the correct item at no additional cost as well as a prepaid UPS return label via email to return the initial order.
*The exception would be where the part number has been superceeded by the manufacturer with a newer part number. We will always try to ship the latest factory revision part number to insure you get the latest factory OEM product revision possible
For all other returns, original shipping fees (if any) are not refunded and a 25% re-stock fee applies.
Please note that NO refunds or returns are available on parts that have been installed or used or on any part that uses electricity, such as ignition modules, motors, ignitors etc.,
Returned parts must be in new and un-used condition and in their original part boxes with all included accessories, instructions etc.
ALL RETURNS REQUIRE A ‘RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION’ NUMBER. RETURNS THAT DO NOT HAVE THIS NUMBER WILL BE REFUSED AT SENDER’S EXPENSE. RETURNS MUST HAVE THEIR ‘RMA’ NUMBER WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE IN CLEAR VIEW OR THE PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED AT SENDER’S COST.
We are not responsible for damaged or lost returns. Used products will not be accepted as a return, and you will be charged shipping and handling for the return of your used product.
Return Merchandise Authorization Request (RMA)
Email us at parts@mainheating.com to request an RMA for your product. Please indicate the reason for your return and put ‘Return Authorization Request’ as the subject of the email. Once you receive an RMA number, be sure to include any packaging slips and wrap the package securely. Include your name, address, phone number, and copy of receipt and email with your return package. Write the RMA number ON THE BOX IN CLEAR VIEW and on the copy of the sales invoice inside the box. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS for the shipment.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, you must notify us immediately via email parts@mainheating.com and we will make every effort to stop your order, but if it has already shipped, there is nothing we can do. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time and without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors and will not be liable or obligated to sell an item at an incorrect price. We are not liable for misuse or wrongful operation of any products that we sell.
Proper safety practices should always be followed. BY PURCHASING FROM US, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS NOTED ABOVE EVEN IF YOU DID NOT READ THIS SECTION BEFORE YOU ORDERED. THIS RETURN POLICY IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL ORDERS INCLUDING TELEPHONE, FAX, EMAIL, AND/OR ONLINE.
